About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Sales Specialist to join our team in Midrand, responsible for driving sales performance of RedHat products, setting pricing strategies, and ensuring financial goals are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales performance for RedHat products by supporting partners and creating commercial opportunities.
- Set pricing, build quotes, and support accurate billing in line with Product programs and rules.
- Work closely with resellers and partners to help them understand product offers, licensing models, and how to grow their business.
- Act as the link between our company and RedHat vendors – stay up to date on promotions, funding programs (like rebates and incentives), and changes in RedHat product offerings.
- Monitor sales numbers, pipeline progress, and forecast future business.
- Report on performance and suggest improvements.
- Assist with contracts, renewals, and special deals, ensuring they are commercially sound and profitable.
- Work closely with finance, operations, and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery of services and correct customer billing.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- IT Qualification or Related
- RedHat Certificates advantageous
- Experience in a commercial, sales, or business management role – ideally in technology distribution or RedHat software.
- Understanding of RedHat products and licensing models is highly preferred.
