Job Description
About the Role
As a Conference Coordinator in Modimolle, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless event planning and execution, while providing exceptional customer service to clients. Your daily tasks will include responding to inquiries, managing bookings and enquiries, and liaising with the Sales Manager to meet client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inquiries daily and provide fast turnaround quotes to clients
- Follow up daily on enquiries and convert them into sales
- Update daily stats report, statuses of bookings & enquiries
- Manage and update client information on EDT report
- Assist clients with requests and plan onsite activities
- Liaise with Sales Manager regarding client requirements and needs
- Conduct site visits
- Call past clients to drive return business
- Prepare function sheets and draw up floor plans
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Formal events / banqueting qualification
- At least 2 years experience in a similar position
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to manage and inspire teams to deliver memorable events
- Creative problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Salary & Benefits
Basic R9500.00 per month, Single Accommodation, Monthly Incentive on revenue from conferencing
