About the Role
We are seeking experienced Guides to join our Luxury Safari Lodge in Limpopo as Head Guides or Field Guides. As a key member of our guiding department, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional game drives and walking safaris while upholding our commitment to conservation, safety, and guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead game drives and walking safaris for international guests
- Develop and implement trails plans, ensuring seamless logistics and execution
- Provide expert guidance on wildlife tracking, spoor identification, and Big Five experience
- Foster strong relationships with guests, promoting unforgettable safari experiences
- Collaborate with the team to ensure exceptional guest interactions and hosting
- Maintain safety standards, adhering to lodge policies and best practices
- Support departmental management, mentorship, and leadership development
Requirements
- FGASA Level 2 Guide qualification with Full Trails (for Head Guides)
- Valid ARH, Trails qualification, First Aid Level 1 , Driver’s Licence & PDP (for Field Guides)
- Proven experience as a Head Guide or Assistant Head Guide within a luxury safari lodge
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and departmental management skills
Qualifications
- FGASA Level 2 Guide qualification with Full Trails (Nature Site Guide NQF4) for Field Guides
