About the Role
Reinhardt Transport Group is seeking experienced Fleet Controllers to join our team at Nigel. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of fleet management and ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of our vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of fleet management (productivity, wages, fuel consumption, route planning, etc.)
- Assign and ensure execution of tasks to drivers
- Track orders and deliveries
- Constantly monitor driver and vehicle performance and efficiency, identifying ways to improve productivity
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance, including scheduling services and COF inspections to ensure the fleet remains in a safe and roadworthy condition
- Conduct monthly inspections and arrange for services and repairs as needed
Requirements
- Matric
- Computer literate
- Excel (compulsory)
- At least 3 years experience in fleet management (controller)
- Own transport
- Sober habits
- Willing to work long hours, public holidays, and weekends
