About the Role
The Civil Production Manager / General Foreman role is a key position within our construction team, responsible for managing site activities, leading teams, and ensuring projects are completed on time and to the required standards. We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in civil construction to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple site activities simultaneously
- Lead and supervise teams of foremen and site workers
- Train and mentor staff to improve performance and skills
- Ensure compliance with SANS 1200 standards and construction methods
- Work under pressure to meet project deadlines and targets
- Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders as required
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Production Manager or General Foreman on civil projects
- Proven experience managing teams on pipelines, earthworks, roads, and concrete works
- Strong understanding of construction methods and SANS 1200 standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities
