Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Learning Solutions Architect to join their Learning & Development team in a unique, hands-on role focused on operational excellence and capability development.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Learning & Development, this national role works closely with operational leadership teams and support functions to identify capability gaps, map workflows, and design learning interventions that improve performance and customer outcomes.
The successful candidate will combine business analysis, process improvement, learning design, facilitation, and change management expertise to create learning solutions that are practical, scalable, and aligned to business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Discovery & Analysis

Spend time within operational environments to understand workflows, processes, and day-to-day activities.

Conduct operational discovery to identify capability gaps, behavioural challenges, and performance improvement opportunities.

Analyse operational data and insights to validate findings and prioritise learning requirements.

Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and operational leaders to gain a comprehensive understanding of business challenges.

Learning Solution Design

Translate operational complexity into practical, engaging, and user-friendly learning solutions.

Design learning frameworks and programmes that support both regional and national business requirements.

Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions with SMEs and stakeholders.

Simplify technical and operational content into accessible learning concepts.
Facilitation & Change Enablement

Deliver learning interventions through a variety of channels and learning methodologies.

Support change management initiatives by helping teams adopt and embed new ways of working.

Create engaging learner experiences that drive behavioural change and operational improvement.

Build strong relationships with operational teams and leadership stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement & Impact Assessment

Evaluate the effectiveness of learning interventions through observation, feedback, and performance data.

Measure learning impact against operational performance and customer experience outcomes.

Continuously refine learning solutions in response to changing business requirements, technologies, and customer expectations.


Requirements

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications

Degree in Business Systems Analysis, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience

10+ years of professional experience.

Proven experience designing and/or delivering learning solutions.

Strong exposure to operational environments.

Experience conducting process analysis and workflow mapping.

Demonstrated ability to drive performance improvement initiatives.

Experience engaging with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of adult learning principles and workplace learning methodologies.

Process mapping and operational improvement expertise.

Business analysis and problem-solving capabilities.

Learning solution design and facilitation skills.

Change management and stakeholder engagement experience.

Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and evolving environments.
Additional Requirements

Valid driver’s licence.

Willingness to travel extensively as part of a national role.
