About the Role
Join us in launching an exciting new remedial sister school to CARE in Johannesburg, opening in January 2026, dedicated to providing an affirming, inclusive, and sensory-aware educational environment for children with diverse learning profiles. We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Teacher to join our founding team.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach remedial lessons to neurodiverse children
- Develop and implement individualised learning programmes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student needs
- Maintain accurate records of student progress
Requirements
- Recognised Teaching Degree or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- SACE registration (essential)
- Experience working in special needs and/or remedial education
- Knowledge of autism-affirming and neurodiversity-informed approaches

- Completed recognised teaching degree or postgraduate certificate in education
