About the Role
We have an amazing opportunity for an Assistant Audit Manager at a firm based in Pietermaritzburg, KZN! The main purpose of this role is to lead and assist in the audit process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct audits and reviews of financial statements
- Lead and coordinate audit teams
- Develop and implement audit plans
- Identify and mitigate risks
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification Bcom
- SAICA articles CA Qualification would be advantageous
- Minimum of 3 years post articles experience within an Audit firm
- Must have Caseware experience
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (BCom) or equivalent, with SAICA articles and CA qualification being advantageous.
