About the Role
A leading financial services environment requires a highly experienced Senior Manager: Service Management to join their People & Culture function on a 6-month maternity cover contract. This is a high-impact contract role suited to a strong operational leader with proven experience driving service management frameworks, SLA governance, stakeholder engagement, reporting, service improvement and operational excellence within large corporate or banking environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the People Function Service Management framework across the business
- Drive service strategy, service design and continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee SLA management, service reviews, escalation management and governance processes
- Develop and maintain detailed service catalogues and operational frameworks
- Manage service performance reporting, dashboards, analytics and business insights
- Partner with key business stakeholders, Finance, HR and service delivery teams
- Facilitate service transition, change management and operational readiness activities
- Drive service delivery optimisation and process improvement initiatives
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions and quarterly service reviews
- Monitor service risks, governance and compliance requirements
- Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to service management teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, HR or related field
- 5+ years experience in Service Management, HR Operations or Shared Services environments
- Strong experience within large corporate or financial services environments
- Proven experience managing:
- SLA governance
- Service delivery frameworks
- Stakeholder engagement
- Service reporting and analytics
- Escalation management
- Continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong analytical, relationship management and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly governed enterprise environment
