About the Role

A leading financial services environment requires a highly experienced Senior Manager: Service Management to join their People & Culture function on a 6-month maternity cover contract. This is a high-impact contract role suited to a strong operational leader with proven experience driving service management frameworks, SLA governance, stakeholder engagement, reporting, service improvement and operational excellence within large corporate or banking environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the People Function Service Management framework across the business
  • Drive service strategy, service design and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Oversee SLA management, service reviews, escalation management and governance processes
  • Develop and maintain detailed service catalogues and operational frameworks
  • Manage service performance reporting, dashboards, analytics and business insights
  • Partner with key business stakeholders, Finance, HR and service delivery teams
  • Facilitate service transition, change management and operational readiness activities
  • Drive service delivery optimisation and process improvement initiatives
  • Lead stakeholder engagement sessions and quarterly service reviews
  • Monitor service risks, governance and compliance requirements
  • Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to service management teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, HR or related field
  • 5+ years experience in Service Management, HR Operations or Shared Services environments
  • Strong experience within large corporate or financial services environments
  • Proven experience managing:
  • SLA governance
  • Service delivery frameworks
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Service reporting and analytics
  • Escalation management
  • Continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong analytical, relationship management and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly governed enterprise environment
