About the Role

Our leading manufacturing client is seeking an experienced Raw Materials Store Team Leader to join their offsite operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the raw materials store, ensuring seamless supply chain management and maintaining high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Overall supervision of offsite raw materials store, including secondary packaging and divider cleaning
Ensure correct batching and strict FIFO management of all materials, including cataloguing of regrind and issuing oldest stock first
Oversee the goods returns process for secondary packaging
Identify control risks and implement mitigation measures (e.g. stock counts, stock movements, and process controls)
Supply secondary packaging to the main site, ensuring all requirements are delivered on time

Requirements

Post-matric qualification in Supply Chain or a related field
Proven track record within an FMCG supply chain environment
Working knowledge of SAP is advantageous
Strong computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook)
