About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join a well-established 4-star hotel in Plettenberg Bay, South Africa. The successful candidate will have a strong background in hospitality sales and the ability to drive revenue across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue through various sales channels
- Develop and maintain relationships with:
- Tour Operators
- Travel Agents
- Online Travel Agents (OTAs)
- Identify new business opportunities and grow market share
- Manage key accounts and build long-term client relationships
- Implement sales strategies to maximise occupancy and revenue
Requirements
- Minimum 35 years of sales experience in hospitality or tourism
- Strong understanding of:
- Tour operator distribution
- Travel agent networks
- OTA platforms
- Proven track record in hotel sales or tourism business development
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Additional languages such as Dutch or German are advantageous
