Job Description
Our client in the FMCG industry is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior HR Generalist to support the day-to-day HR operations of the business. The successful candidate will assist with a wide range of HR functions, ensuring smooth and efficient HR processes while supporting employees and management.
Driver’s license essential!
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Human Resources or related field
- 2+ years experience in a similar HR role
- Basic knowledge of labour legislation and HR best practices
- Experience with payroll processes (weekly payroll experience advantageous)
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel locally

Key Responsibilities
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide general HR administrative support across the business
- Draft, issue, and maintain employee contracts and HR documentation
- Manage and process weekly payroll accurately and timeously
- Coordinate disciplinary processes and labour hearings, including attending and taking notes when required
- Support staff skills development initiatives and training programmes
- Facilitate and assist with health and safety training
- Travel locally to various outlets to assist with onboarding and support of new staff
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
