Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking three skilled Diesel Mechanics to join our team in Postmasburg, South Africa. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in diesel mechanics and experience working on mining machines.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and machinery
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with Komatsu, Bell, and Hitachi mining machines
- Conduct basic electrical work as required
- Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and in good working condition
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12 (Matric) or N3 Diesel Mechanic Trade Certificate
- Basic Electrical experience
- At least 5 years’ experience on mining machines, specifically Komatsu, Bell, and Hitachi
- Valid Code B Drivers License
- No criminal record
