About the Role
The Manager Benefits & Remuneration will be responsible for providing strategic guidance on employee benefits and remuneration matters to senior management and staff. This role requires a strong understanding of human resources principles, payroll operations, and employee engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on employee benefits and remuneration matters to senior management and staff
- Liaise with external clients and internal stakeholders to ensure effective HR service delivery
- Oversee the management of key performance areas for direct reports and reporting staff to achieve divisional objectives
- Develop and implement promotion and retention strategies for existing employees
- Collaborate with managers to develop departmental budgets and ensure operational efficiency within budget constraints
- Compile monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports on employee benefits and remuneration matters
- Partner with compensation and payroll support teams to oversee report production and data integrity
Requirements
- Minimum B Com degree (HR or Industrial Psychology) / NQF level 7 equivalent
- Minimum seven years of experience in payroll and employee benefits exposure, with five years in management roles
Qualifications
- Added advantage: B Com Honours degree (HR/Industrial Psychology) / NQF level 8 equivalent
