Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Retail Sales Manager to lead our in-store team and drive sales performance. The successful candidate will be based on the sales floor, ensuring exceptional customer service, staff productivity, and strong brand presence. This role requires a motivated leader with a proactive “can-do” attitude and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
• Allocate sales targets and ensure team performance meets or exceeds expectations.
• Ensure consistent delivery of excellent customer service.
• Maintain high merchandising and store presentation standards.
• Lead, motivate, mentor, and develop the store team to maximise sales.
• Manage daily store operations, sales activities, and staff performance.
• Enforce work procedures and address non-compliance appropriately.
• Provide daily sales reporting to management and staff.
• Ensure ongoing staff training, development, and strong product knowledge.
Requirements & Skills:
• Matric / Senior Certificate.
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Email).
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans (both essential).
• Minimum 5 years’ management experience with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to build strong working relationships and lead a team effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and own transport.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly to changes.
• Basic HR knowledge.
• Willingness to work retail hours (195 hours/month; shift roster).
