Job Summary
Hire Resolves client, a respected multidisciplinary construction and projectmanagement consultancy based in Richards Bay, is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor for a fixed twoyear contract.
Responsibilities
-
Deliver full lifecycle cost management on civil and building projects, from feasibility through final account.

Prepare and monitor project budgets, cashflow forecasts, valuations and progress claims.
-
Administer JBCC / NEC / FIDIC contracts, including changecontrol and claims management.
-
Produce accurate bills of quantities, tender documentation and cost reports using CCSCandy/BuildSmart (or similar).
-
Liaise with project managers, engineers and site teams to ensure commercial integrity and ontime delivery.
-
Conduct regular site visits in the Richards Bay/KZN region to verify measurements and progress.
Requirements
-
BTech in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management (or equivalent).
-
5+years combined Quantity Surveying and ProjectManagement experience.
-
Sound knowledge of South African construction contracts and procurement routes.
-
Advanced MSExcel skills; QS software proficiency advantageous.
-
Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel locally.
-
Availability: immediate or within one week.
