Job Description

Investigation of crime incidents; Handling of informers and intelligence; Ensure that court procedures are fulfilled; Liaise with HR department concerning disciplinary enquiries to ensure fulfilment thereof ; Liaise with client/SAPS/ Court officials; Inspection of dockets according to brought forward system; Administrate on-line intelligence and crime irregularities and crime incidents Compliance with the MHS Act Filling of admin documents and keeping registers Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills: PSIRA certification Grade A; Grade 12 or equivalent qualification; Strong interpersonal skills, Analytical, Critical Thinking skills; Ability to meet strict deadline High methodical working methods are required Attention to details Ability to liaise professionally with management and personnel at all levels. Ability work without supervision and under pressure. Proficiency in CCTV and the other security technologies systems. Minimum of 3 years experience in investigating of incidents (criminals as well as departmental). Security knowledge and advantage. A working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); SAPS, Defence force and NIA experience will be an advantage Firearm competency Have excellent presentation, written, verbal communication and report writing skills Own reliable/economical transport and drivers licence Ability to work independently, under pressure and meet targets. Good organisational skills, patience and willing to go extra mile. Long hours and standby over weekends. Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record. Knowledge of Investigation techniques. Knowledge of Criminal Procedure Act, Labour Relations act, Constitutional Act, Minerals Act and Precious Metal Act. Prepared toto do regular polygraphs. Decision making skills.
