A highly reputable company located in Rivonia, Gauteng is seeking a PR Civil Engineer to join their team.

As a PR Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various civil engineering projects, including roads, stormwater, geometrics, sewer and pavements.

The role requires strong technical expertise, excellent project management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Project Management/Engineering Projects
• Design roads, stormwater, geometrics and pavements
• Planning, Investigating engineering problems and finding solutions
• Analysis and design of all related infrastructure
• overseeing of production of drawings and other related infrastructure components
• Site inspection and supervision
• Checking and verifying engineering details on drawings produced by the drawing office.
• Analysis and design of roads, water, sewer and other related infrastructure, manually and using design software
• Training and supervision of Technicians and junior engineers
• Checking of draughting work, general arrangement drawings and details

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (B-Tech or B- Eng) in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Professional registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
• 3-5 years of post registration experience in civil engineering.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, design standards, and construction practices
• Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management tools
• Computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Project)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• PR. CPM advantageous
• SANRAL experience advantageous
• Practical training from an established firm
• Theoretical knowledge obtained from recognised South African University or international institution verified by (HSRC or CETA or ECSA)
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required
