About the Role
Firewater is looking for a highly motivated Junior to Mid-Level Creative Content Producer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes social content, understands platform trends, and can independently capture and produce engaging content across a variety of brands and industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Shoot high-quality social-first content at:
- Corporate events
- Brand activations
- Conferences
- Client offices
- Lifestyle shoots
- On-location productions
- Capture both video and photography content where required
- Independently identify engaging moments, trends, and storytelling opportunities on-site
- Ensure content is captured in platform-appropriate formats (vertical-first focus)
- Edit short-form content including:
- Instagram Reels
- TikToks
- YouTube Shorts
- LinkedIn video content
- Event recap videos
- Perform basic to intermediate app-based editing (CapCut/Reels/TikTok editing tools or similar)
- Add subtitles, transitions, music, hooks, pacing, and platform-native styling
- Create fast-turnaround edits for live/post-event coverage
- Resize and adapt content across platforms
- Source suitable influencers and content creators aligned to campaign objectives and target audiences
- Research creator profiles, engagement quality, audience fit, and content style
- Assist with influencer outreach, negotiations, and communication
- Coordinate influencer deliverables, timelines, and content approvals
- Help manage influencer briefing documents and campaign requirements
- Monitor influencer content performance and ensure brand alignment
- Build and maintain creator relationship databases
- Collaborate with strategists, designers, paid media teams, and account managers
- Assist in brainstorming content concepts and social-first campaign ideas
- Stay up to date with trends, platform updates, editing styles, and creator culture
- Understand how content performs across different platforms and audiences
- Manage content uploads, backups, and file organisation
- Meet tight turnaround times and delivery deadlines
- Handle shoots professionally and represent the agency well in front of clients
- Operate independently when required without constant oversight
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and modern social content formats
- Comfortable shooting on smartphones and/or mirrorless cameras
- Basic to intermediate editing skills using:
- CapCut
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Canva
- Reels/TikTok editing tools
- Similar short-form editing software
Qualifications
- Good understanding of influencer and creator culture
- Strong eye for framing, lighting, pacing, and storytelling
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable attending events after hours or on weekends when required
