About the Role
Limpopo Career Consortium (Limcaco) is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Superintendent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex hybrid infrastructure, service desks, and vendors, ensuring seamless operations and delivering exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex hybrid infrastructure (Cloud/on-prem)
- Oversee service desks and ensure timely resolution of customer issues
- Develop and implement cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST) and Zero Trust architecture
- Collaborate with vendors to manage contracts, SLAs/OLAs, and performance metrics
- Implement ITSM platforms, endpoint compliance controls, and infrastructure monitoring tools
- Analyze and optimize IT infrastructure for improved efficiency
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Operations, and/or Service Delivery Management roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Postgraduate degree advantageous
- TIL v3/v4 Certification (Foundation or higher)
- Agile project management certification a distinct advantage
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST) and Zero Trust architecture
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; TIL v3/v4 Certification (Foundation or higher); Agile project management certification; postgraduate degree advantageous.
