About the Role
The Supply Chain Controller plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain, working closely with various hospital groups to optimize inventory levels and ensure accurate tracking of consignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Process daily supply chain related tasks, including tracking inventory and submitting feedback to the Sales team.
- Foster collaboration between divisions to enhance efficiencies and ensure effective transfer of consignment (TCs) via Teams workflow.
- Distribute Stock Valuation Reports when required and maintain optimum inventory levels.
- Monitor and manage excess inventory, slow moving, and obsolete stock.
- Assist with upliftments and emergency deliveries, as well as managing the rotation of stock based on Risk Exposure Report and 9 months and longer stock at hospitals.
- Source and rotate stock accordingly to hospitals, minimizing stock write off through effective rotation and levels management.
- Manage ad-hoc deliveries of emergency stock and kits in the Gauteng region.
- Maintain filing of documents and housekeeping, as well as organize stock in hospitals by product group, size, and expiration date.
Requirements
- Matric and 2 years of experience in a similar role in the medical/surgical/hospital/pharmaceutical industry.
- Valid drivers licence and own transport.
- Experience with inventory or ERP systems (e.g., SAGE Evolution).
- Inventory Control knowledge.
