Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain all IT infrastructure including servers, networks, cloud environments and end-user systems
  • Own and optimise core business systems including ERP, ensuring data integrity and alignment with operational needs
  • Provide stable, scalable IT environments supporting engineering, development, testing and production activities
  • Drive cybersecurity practices including access control, data protection, backup and disaster recovery, and proactive vulnerability monitoring
  • Support internal and external audits (CE+, AS9100) by ensuring IT systems, controls and documentation meet compliance requirements
  • Manage IT vendors, service providers and procurement of hardware and software
  • Maintain IT documentation, systems governance and best practices
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, automation and system integration across the business

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
  • 3–5 years of relevant IT management experience
  • Strong Linux administration experience
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Solid experience with business networking and network security (intrusion detection, encryption)
  • Experience with cloud services — AWS preferred
  • Experience with virtualisation technologies (Docker, vSphere, VirtualBox)
  • Advantageous: AWS Professional or Specialty certifications, Python PCPP certifications, experience with Git/SVN, enterprise networking policy, authentication systems (LDAP, SSO, OAuth) and leadership experience
