About the Role
The Inland Sales Manager plays a crucial role in achieving regional sales targets and managing operational aspects for the Gauteng region, including business development and client retention. This position contributes to the company’s success by maximizing regional profitability and executing strategy for all prepaid products.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive channel sales performance and ensure all sales representatives achieve new business acquisition and revenue targets.
- Manage direct reporting staff, including hiring, training, delegating duties, and conducting performance reviews.
- Coordinate financial and budget activities to ensure maximum operational efficiency and achievement of regional revenue.
- Monitor stock, company assets, facilities, and cash control in accordance with company policy.
- Conduct regular site visits to maintain awareness of market requirements and competitor activity.
- Execute regional strategy for all prepaid products and coordinate sales team activities.
- Review performance data and financial reports to measure productivity and individual performance against targets.
Requirements
- 5 years of sales and operations management experience
- 3 years of experience in customer relations or client management
- Grade 12 with Matric certificate and a relevant tertiary qualification
