About the Role
Our client in the motor industry is seeking a Full Stack DevOps Engineer to join their team of experienced engineers and contribute to the growth of their fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be part of a DevOps team responsible for implementing and operating functional services within their Generative AI platform application.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and operate functional services in the Generative AI platform application
- Participate in Agile working experiences and take on additional responsibilities as assigned
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operation of services
- Develop, test, and maintain software applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, Python, and other relevant technologies
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of professional software development experience
- Relevant degree or additional experience in a related field
- Agile working experience
- Frontend development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular)
- Backend and library development (Python)
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (e.g. Jest or pytest)
- Strong emphasis on Amazon Web Services (AWS) including API Gateway, Lambda, Dynamo DB, S3, SQS
- Proficiency in Git and GitHub Actions
- Good understanding of UI/UX concepts
- State Management (NgRx, RxJS)
- Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Handling asynchronous calls
- Experience with SCSS
- Familiarity with Terraform and Terragrunt (IaC)
- Knowledge on BMW Density design framework
- Experience building web apps for mobile devices
- Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and specifically LLM-based applications
- Problem solving capabilities

- Contract rate of R450 Per hour, negotiable based on experience and ability
