About the Role
We are seeking a Guide and Duty Manager couple to join our game lodge team. As a live-in position, you will have the opportunity to experience the beauty of nature while providing exceptional service to our guests. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including meals on duty, groceries for off-duty periods, and a compulsory provident fund.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guided tours and activities to guests in accordance with Fgasa guidelines
- Assist with camp maintenance tasks as part of the team
- Manage day-to-day operations of the lodge, including handling guest issues and resolving conflicts
- Work independently and use initiative to resolve problems under pressure
- Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor in close quarters with colleagues
Requirements
- Guide:
- Valid PDP (Professional Development Programme) certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid first aid Level 1 minimum
- Deat registered (minimum)
- Fgasa level 1 minimum (minimum 2 years working experience)

Salary & Benefits
- Guide: R9500 per month, negotiable depending on experience
- Duty Manager:
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid first aid Level 1 (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year previous working experience in a similar role
- Salary R9000 per month, negotiable depending on experience
