About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Instructor to join our reputable Guide Training institute in Mpumalanga. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing inspirational and immersive learning experiences to course participants, while also managing the day-to-day operations of our training camps.
Key Responsibilities
- General management and running of camps
- Planning and management of maintenance on infrastructure, vehicles, and equipment
- Liaising with Reserve Management on concession matters
- Supervision of cooks, cleaners, and Camp Coordinators
- Mentoring students on work experience placement or volunteer basis
- Ensuring all firearms are safe, well-maintained, and in good working order
- Facilitating daily activities and planning academic requirements
Requirements
- Minimum NQF 4. VPDA qualification
- FGASA Level Professional level (3)
- Advanced Trails Guide certification
- Current Advanced Rifle Handling certification
- 5 years of related industry experience
- Current NDT Registration
- Current PDP registration
- Current FGASA Membership
