About the Role
We are seeking an experienced In-Country Procurement Planner to join our team, responsible for managing end-to-end procurement execution across Zimbabwe and Mozambique. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of customs, clearing, and import processes, as well as experience with stock control and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement execution across Zimbabwe and Mozambique
- Track inbound orders and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Manage and engage with local suppliers across both markets
- Coordinate customs clearance and import processes
- Oversee stock control and inventory management
- Manage Inter-Branch Transfers (IBTs)
- Maintain accurate reporting and procurement records
- Ensure alignment between procurement, logistics, and operational needs
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in procurement, supply chain or logistics
- Experience working across multiple countries/markets
- Strong understanding of customs, clearing, and import processes
- Experience with stock control and inventory management
- ERP experience essential (SAP Business One strongly preferred)
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
