Job Description

Cracker Zac’s is seeking a strong, disciplined Kitchen Manager to take full ownership of kitchen operations in a fast-paced entertainment and hospitality environment. This is a leadership role for someone who understands that kitchen management is about operational control, cost discipline, and consistency — not just cooking. We are looking for a commercially aware professional who can manage food cost, control stock, lead a team under pressure, and maintain high standards during peak trading periods. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all kitchen operations during service Take ownership of food cost control and waste management Conduct stock counts and investigate variances Oversee ordering, supplier management, and stock rotation Enforce strict food safety and hygiene standards Supervise, train, and manage kitchen staff performance Ensure consistency in recipes, portion control, and presentation Maintain operational discipline and kitchen efficiency Requirements Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Kitchen Manager or senior leadership role Proven experience managing food cost and stock control Strong operational discipline and attention to detail Ability to lead confidently in high-pressure service environments Commercial mindset with focus on efficiency and margin control Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays Experience in high-volume restaurants or entertainment venues will be advantageous.
