About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and hands-on Lodge Anchor to join a luxury safari property in the Free State. This supervisory role requires a professional who can oversee lodge operations, support staff, and ensure an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily lodge operations and ensure smooth workflow across departments
- Lead, mentor, and motivate lodge staff to deliver high standards of service
- Support guest interactions and ensure an exceptional hospitality experience
- Oversee health, safety, and operational compliance on the property
- Manage lodge resources, including inventory, supplies, and equipment
- Assist with scheduling, staff rostering, and training initiatives
- Act as a point of escalation for operational or guest-related matters
Requirements
Valid driver’s licence
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar supervisory lodge or safari role
Tertiary qualification in hospitality from a recognised institution
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Reliable, proactive, and able to work in a remote environment
