Maintenance Millwright

Location: Pietermaritzburg, KZN

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability

Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, troubleshooting faults and implementing corrective actions

Performing preventive maintenance tasks to downsize and maximize efficiency

Collaborating with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize production interruption

Adhering to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

Operate and tend lathe and turning machines

Turn, bore, form or face metal plastic materials

Operate production machinery

Operate maintenance machinery

Perform general engineering-based tasks

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Maintenance Millwright or similar role in an industrial setting

Proficiency in mechanical and electrical systems

Ability to read technical manuals, schematics and blueprints

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Trade certification as a Millwright or relevant qualification

Strong commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork
