About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and professional South African ESL teacher to deliver one-on-one conversational and assessment-based English lessons to adult Japanese students. As an independent contractor, you will work remotely with our stable international platform and earn a competitive rate of $6.50 USD per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach 25-minute one-on-one classes to adult Japanese learners (all proficiency levels)
- Adapt teaching to student’s level and provide feedback
- Send brief, encouraging messages to students after each class (2 minutes of your time)
- Use our provided lesson materials and internal platform for teaching
Requirements
- 3-year National Diploma or equivalent qualification
- Completed, accredited 120-hour TEFL certificate or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of ESL teaching experience
- Ability to teach English across all CEFR proficiency levels (absolute beginner to advanced)
