About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Sales & Market Development Manager to join our client’s high-performing commercial team based at their Head Office in Pretoria. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth in the North American market, identifying and converting high-producing luxury and boutique agencies, and executing structured annual sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and convert high-producing luxury and boutique agencies
- Deepen relationships with key DMC partners
- Execute structured annual sales strategies to drive measurable year-on-year growth
- Undertake extensive international travel, including roadshows, trade shows, FAM trips, and in-market sales calls across the United States and Canada
- Represent a premium luxury brand to a discerning international audience
Requirements
- Minimum 5–7 years’ senior sales experience within the luxury safari, lodge, or high-end inbound tourism sector
- Proven and measurable track record of driving revenue growth specifically within North American source markets
- Established relationships within the North American luxury travel trade – agency owners, senior travel designers, and DMC partners
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.)
Salary & Benefits
- R500 000 to R600 000 Cost to Company, depending on experience
