About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our team at a leading Plant Propagation company based in the Boland region of South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire production cycle, managing staff, and driving business growth through innovative processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full production cycle of a plant wholesaler
- Staff management of 70 plus
- Seasonal activities
- Budget control
- Streamline production processes
- Innovative with new lines and options to increase profitability of the group
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Valid Drivers
- Able to work in the area
- Formal qualification in Horticultural or similar
- Experience in Plant propagation between 3 to 7 years
- Expertise in Season plant production and processes
- HR pertaining to staff
- Production Planning, scheduling etc
