About the Role

The Stores Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing stock control, and ensuring accurate inventory systems in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations (receiving, storage, dispatch)
  • Manage stock control, cycle counts, and annual stock takes
  • Ensure accurate barcoding, bin locations, and inventory systems
  • Supervise container handling, storage, and equipment usage
  • Oversee forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and general equipment maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety standards (including inspections)
  • Manage stores staff and drivers (training, scheduling, performance)
  • Coordinate logistics, dispatch, and receiving operations
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organisation

Requirements

Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain / Logistics (preferred)

Qualifications

Forklift license (essential); reach truck license (advantageous)
