About the Role
We are seeking a young and ambitious individual with strong management and organisational skills to join our team as a Reception and Manager’s Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing the front desk, and assisting the Manager in various departments as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide excellent customer service
- Manage the reception area and maintain a high level of presentation
- Assist the Manager with administrative tasks and duties
- Relieve staff in various departments as needed
- Coordinate kitchen team to produce food items with attention to detail and high standards of presentation
Requirements
- Matric certificate
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the bush lodge industry
- Experience in staff management, guest relations, and front desk duties
- Knowledge of SEMPER (if applicable)
- Stock control experience (if applicable)
- Housekeeping experience (if applicable)
