About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Sales Assistant (Retail) in North Riding, who will be responsible for generating leads, closing sales, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service that ensures ongoing sales and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Answer incoming call enquiries and respond to online email enquiries.
- Send out quotes.
- Follow up on quotes sent.
- Check for proof of payment.
- Discuss the service offering with walk-in customers.
- Assist with admin tasks.
- Schedule job times and dates with customers.
- Plan logistical routes.
- Prepare daily reports.
- Maintain and update the interior design of the office.
- Prepare customer satisfaction reports and assist with HR functions.
Requirements
- Excellent Listening, Customer Service and People Skills.
- Excellent Service Knowledge.
- High Energy Level.
- High Dependability.
- Good General Math Skills.
- Excellent Verbal Communication.
- Proven track record in achieving sales quotas.
- Good admin and reporting background.
- Experience in the storage, logistics or transport industry is preferable.
- Minimum 5 years sales experience.
- Matric mandatory.
Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required for this role. However, a Sales diploma or degree would be an added advantage.
Salary & Benefits
The salary range for this position is R7 000 – R12 000 per month.
