About the Role
Our client, a leading retail company in North Riding, is seeking a highly motivated Sales Assistant (Retail) to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, interacting with customers, and meeting sales goals while upholding the company’s ideals and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service that ensures ongoing sales and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Answer incoming call enquiries and respond to online email enquiries.
- Send out quotes.
- Follow up on quotes sent.
- Check for proof of payment.
- Discuss the service offering with walk-in customers.
- Assist with admin tasks.
- Schedule job times and dates with customers.
- Plan logistical routes.
- Prepare daily reports.
- Maintain and update the interior design of the office.
- Prepare customer satisfaction reports and assist with HR functions.
Requirements
- Excellent Listening, Customer Service and People Skills.
- Excellent Service Knowledge.
- High Energy Level.
- High Dependability.
- Good General Math Skills.
- Excellent Verbal Communication.
- Proven track record in achieving sales quotas.
- Good admin and reporting background.
- Experience in the storage, logistics or transport industry is preferable.
- Minimum 5 years sales experience.
- Matric mandatory.
- Sales diplomas or degrees preferable.
Salary & Benefits
R7 000 – R12 000 p.m.
