About the Role

Join a global leader in industrial IoT and remote monitoring solutions as a Senior Full Stack Software Developer. Our client is building IoT magic that turns messy real-world data into insightful dashboards, and wants you! This is a strategic, high-impact role for a developer with deep expertise in C#/.NET and ASP.NET Core, capable of shaping architecture and guiding development teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and operate cloud environments in production
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments
  • Design and develop backend and frontend applications using C#/.NET, ASP.NET Core, RESTful APIs, and TypeScript
  • Implement software engineering foundations, including data structures, algorithms, and collaborative development workflows
  • Work with SQL (including query tuning and indexing) and/or NoSQL datastores, preferably with Entity Framework Core
  • Design and operate modular monolith and/or microservices-based cloud-native architectures
  • Utilize CQRS, Dependency Injection, FluentValidation, JSON serialization, and the Task Parallel Library (TPL)
  • Manage cloud platforms, preferably Azure

Requirements

  • 7+ years of full-time software development experience in a company team environment
  • Proven experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Solid proficiency in backend and some frontend development using C#/.NET, ASP.NET Core, RESTful APIs, and TypeScript
  • Deep understanding of software engineering foundations, including data structures, algorithms, and collaborative development workflows
  • Proficiency with SQL (including query tuning and indexing) and/or NoSQL datastores
  • Experience designing and operating modular monolith and/or microservices-based cloud-native architectures
  • Cloud & DevOps Expertise
  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Software Engineering (preferred), a closely related field, or equivalent additional professional experience.

Salary & Benefits

Cost to company salary of up to R1.5m per annum depending on experience and ability.
