About the Role

Act as the critical link between business operations and the Internal Audit function, driving project-based initiatives focused on strengthening controls and processes. Embed governance and compliance practices into day-to-day operations, supporting audit readiness and ongoing compliance with internal standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify governance, risk and control gaps across processes and environments
• Design and implement practical control improvements that work in the real world
• Work closely with operational teams to assign a specific business area weekly
• Influence stakeholders across the business without formal authority
• Collaborate with Internal Audit leadership to align business and audit requirements
• Travel regularly to operational areas to support infield work
• Maintain a strong daily in-office presence to collaborate

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years proven business-facing governance, risk or compliance experience
• Strong project experience and comfort working in dynamic, project-based environments
• Manufacturing industry experience is essential due to high operational exposure
• Comfortable spending up to 90% of time in-field within operations
• Strong ability to assess processes, identify risk and implement controls
• Experience working with systems, software or control frameworks

Qualifications

Degree in Finance OR Equivalent
