Job Description

A well-established and growing global mobility business is seeking a Senior Immigration Consultant to take ownership of its immigration function.

This is not a processing role. This is a leadership opportunity.

You will oversee complex immigration portfolios across South Africa and various African jurisdictions, act as escalation point for high-level cases, and play a strategic role in strengthening processes, compliance, and service delivery. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage South African and African immigration casework

  • Oversee complex corporate and private client portfolios

  • Serve as escalation point for urgent and high-risk matters

  • Ensure full legislative compliance across jurisdictions

  • Liaise directly with DHA, VFS, and African immigration authorities

  • Oversee document control, submissions, and quality assurance

  • Proactively escalate delayed applications and manage turnaround times

  • Drive operational improvements within the immigration function

  • Mentor and guide junior consultants

  • Maintain strong client relationships and deliver exceptional service

  • Support business growth initiatives within the immigration division

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in South African and African immigration

  • Strong understanding of corporate immigration processes

  • Proven ability to manage complex, high-volume portfolios

  • Confident engagement with immigration authorities

  • Excellent drafting, research, and compliance skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency

  • Comfortable using AI platforms and digital systems

  • Fluent in English (French advantageous)

  • Drivers licence and own transport preferred

Relevant qualification in Legal Administration, Business, or Immigration will be advantageous.
