About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Tax Administrator to join our team, responsible for ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations in a corporate setting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of corporate tax, VAT, PAYE, and eFiling systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file income tax returns
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Provide expert advice on tax matters to clients or management
- Maintain accurate records and files
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve tax-related issues
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in corporate tax
- Registered with a professional body (e.g. South African Institute of Chartered Accountants)
- SARS registration as a Tax Practitioner
- Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax, provisional tax, VAT, and PAYE
- Proficiency in SARS eFiling and related tax systems
Qualifications
- Relevant tax or finance qualification (e.g. BCom Taxation, LLB)
