Job Duties

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons aligned with provincial curriculum standards
  • Develop engaging teaching materials and classroom activities
  • Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and observations
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance and academic performance
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
  • Support students academic, social, and emotional development

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Education (B.Ed.) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Valid teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain certification in a Canadian province)
  • Previous teaching experience (preferred, depending on role)
  • Strong understanding of curriculum and assessment methods
  • Ability to work in a multicultural and inclusive environment
