Safari JOBS is now recruiting for a Trails Guide (1st Rifle) opportunity within an intimate, high-end Big 5 luxury safari lodge environment. This role calls for a professional, passionate guide who can combine safety, knowledge, and storytelling to provide guests with memorable walking and wildlife experiences. It is ideally suited to a confident, guest-focused individual who is passionate about the bush, committed to exceptional guiding standards, and able to create authentic, engaging, and memorable safari experiences. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced trails professional to join a respected luxury safari operation where strong hosting ability, polished guest interaction, and genuine bush knowledge are all highly valued. ??????? ???????????? ??? ???????????? Clear criminal record; Excellent employment track record references will be verified; Excellent English fluency; Minimum 4 years Big 5 guiding experience within 5 star lodge environments; Relevant Trails qualifications to lead walks as 1st rifle; PFTC rifle competencies & ARH; First Aid; NDT registered; PrDP; Excellent knowledge of flora, fauna, and conservation practices; Strong guest interaction and storytelling skills; Basic vehicle and lodge maintenance skill / understanding; ??? ?????????????? ???? ?? ?? ?? ????. ??? ???????????????? Deliver exceptional guest safari experiences through daily guided game drives and bush walks; Hosting of guests (Brunch & dinner) Guides accompany their guests for meals; Able to respond to emergency and security situations; Be passionate about helping to contribute to the continued success of the lodge; Provide support with general habitat, property, or maintenance-related tasks as required. ???????????? / ??????? / ???? ????? NEG. DOE & qualifications Please advise your approximate salary expectation upon application; Accommodation provided – single; Utilities including water, electricity, Wi-Fi; Gratuities can range up to approximately R20k+ p/m, factor dependent; Provident Fund (100% contribution by company)*; 12 bednights annually*; Meals; Uniform Work Cycle: 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off, plus 10 annual leave days. *Certain of the above benefits or provisions may only become applicable after the successful completion of an initial contract period or other stipulated qualifying period. ??????????? ???????
