About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Warehouse Manager to lead and strengthen a dynamic warehouse team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take ownership of warehouse operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where continuous improvement is key.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient daily operations
- Manage raw materials, finished goods, and consignment stock
- Conduct monthly stock takes and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Optimise warehouse layout, stock flow, and storage systems
- Implement and maintain 5S and GMP standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce warehousing costs
- Ensure OTIF (On-Time-In-Full) delivery performance
- Collaborate closely with production and distribution teams
- Monitor KPIs, report on performance, and implement corrective actions
- Manage shift work in a unionised environment
Requirements
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum 5 years experience in warehousing / stock control
- At least 2 years experience in a warehouse management role
- Strong ERP systems experience (Syspro advantageous)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables and advanced functions)
- Experience with import and export containerised loading and destuffing
- GMP / food safety warehousing experience (advantage)
