About the Role

As a Junior Financial Assistant in our Tzaneen office, you will be part of an energetic team working in a rural agricultural environment where collaboration is key. You will be responsible for assisting with financial tasks, salary administration, budgets, and financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verwerk krediteure en debiteure tye en korrek
  • Hou finansiële rekords en help met verslae
  • Help met salarisse, maandelikse rekonsiliasies en begrotings
  • Werk met ERP-stelsels en doen Excel-ontledings
  • Help met oudits en nakomingsake

Requirements

  • Diploma in Finansies, Rekeningkunde or a similar qualification
  • Minstens 3 jaar ervaring in finansies of rekeningkunde (landbou-ervaring is a plus)
  • Praktiese ervaring met ERP-stelsels
  • Goeie Excel-vaardighede (formules, draaitabelle, verslae)

About the Role

As a Junior Financial Assistant, you will manage accounts, support payroll, handle budgeting, and ensure accurate financial reporting in a dynamic and collaborative agriculture environment. This role offers practical exposure across all financial operations, providing an opportunity to develop your career in a sector essential to South Africa’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and receivable accurately and on time
  • Prepare and maintain financial records and reports
  • Support payroll, monthly reconciliations, and budgeting
  • Maintain ERP system data and perform advanced Excel analysis
  • Assist with audits and compliance activities

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • At least 3 years finance or accounting experience, preferably in agriculture or related sectors
  • Hands-on ERP experience
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, reporting)
  • Fluent in Afrikaans
