About the Role

The Umhlanga Rocks: HR Administrator will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organisation’s human resources functions, providing administrative support to the HR team and contributing to the overall success of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage industrial relations processes, including performance management, disciplinary hearings, and grievance procedures
  • Maintain professional relationships with relevant SETA authorities
  • Administer employee benefits, including Provident Fund, Medical Aid, and related employee benefit schemes
  • Ensure accurate leave management and attendance administration
  • Drive the recruitment and onboarding process for new employees
  • Support training and development initiatives across the organisation
  • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and maintain job descriptions
  • Update, communicate, and train staff on HR policies and procedures
  • Manage time and attendance systems and overall leave administration
  • Assist managers with the implementation of the disciplinary code of conduct and provide guidance on disciplinary matters
  • Provide payroll support and related HR administration

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a Human Resources role
  • Solid knowledge of current labour legislation and CCMA procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of VIP Payroll would be advantageous
