About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Umhlanga, Durban. As a key member of our Talent Acquisition team, you will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment for our South Africa sites (Durban and Cape Town) for all advisor level roles. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and your HR colleagues to recruit immediate/planned requirements, build a strong talent pipeline, and develop the Employer Brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of service and sales advisor roles from sourcing, advertising, headhunting, screening, assessing, and placement.
  • Adopt a hands-on role in the end-to-end recruitment cycle, working closely with Hiring Managers to define role requirements, identify appropriate recruitment channels, screen/interview/assess candidates, and monitor pipelines through to salary negotiation and candidate acceptance.
  • Implement creative recruitment strategies to meet hiring demands across the business using various methods as appropriate (job boards, LinkedIn, networking, social media channels, referrals, etc.).
  • Work closely with Hiring Managers to assess internal talent, review and assist with future talent moves, and facilitate pre-boarding of candidates.
  • Build strategic relationships with the leadership team, bringing updates, insight, and market intelligence.
  • Communicate challenges/opportunities/ideas and build strong external strategic relationships to promote Huntswood as an Employer of Choice.
  • Maintain candidate and requisition data accurately on the ATS and be responsible for accurate and timely reporting.
  • Assist with other ad hoc duties/projects on occasion.

Requirements

  • Volume recruitment experience within BPO is essential.
  • Minimum of matric/NQF4 qualification.
  • Relevant HR tertiary qualification preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years recruitment experience in a high volume environment.
  • Experience in dealing with international campaigns (UK/USA/AUS).
  • Preference shown for candidates who have recruited for/in a similar industry.
  • Competency-based interviewing experience.
