About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Millwright with extensive experience in Loesche Vertical Mills to join our client’s Clay Plant Factory in Vereeniging. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products supplied to customers and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that the quality of the product meets desired standards and specifications
- Involvement and leadership in problem solving and continuous improvement
- Development and implementation of process controls
- Maintenance of all equipment
- Implementation and maintenance of a preventative maintenance program
- Purchasing and financial controls on departmental maintenance expenses
- Purchasing and financial controls on consumable materials to ensure product quality
- Housekeeping and Health & Safety
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Loesche Vertical Mill manufacturing environment
- Red Seal Qualification as a Millwright
- Solid knowledge and experience with Loesche Vertical Mill
- Strong mechanical and electrical background/experience
- Leadership ability, effective communication skills, and good interpersonal skills
- Hands-on approach, attention to detail, and perseverance
