About the Role
Hire Resolve is currently seeking 3 skilled Diesel Mechanic’s for their client based in Wellington, where you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel-powered equipment in the Civil Construction Industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on diesel-powered equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner
- Replace faulty parts as needed
- Ensure efficient operation of machinery to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure effective workflow
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Red Seal
- Valid Trade Certificate as a Diesel Mechanic
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic
- Experience with a variety of diesel engines and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
