About the Role
Network Finance is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join our team in Western Cape. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for driving control, efficiency, and accountability across the business. If your strength lies in understanding how the numbers are created on the ground, not just how they’re reported, this talent network is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Full hands-on ownership of the finance function
- Close involvement in Debtors, Creditors, Cashbook, Payroll, GL and Stock
- Managing cash flow, working capital and cost control daily
- Partnering with operations, production, supply chain or sales teams
- Reviewing journals, reconciliations and resolving variances at source
- Driving financial discipline and accountability across departments
- Preparing management accounts with real operational insight, not just commentary
- Improving processes, tightening controls and fixing inefficiencies
- Leading small to mid-sized finance teams in busy environments
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar (CA(SA) advantageous but not essential)
- Proven experience in a strongly operational Financial Manager role
- Background in manufacturing, FMCG, retail, logistics, distribution or production environments preferred
- Comfortable in high-volume, deadline-driven environments
- Strong Excel and system exposure (ERP experience essential)
- Confident communicator who can challenge operations constructively
- Detail-driven, resilient, and comfortable being hands-on
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar
- CA(SA) certification (advantageous but not essential)
