About the Role
The General Worker supports the day-to-day operations of the hospital by ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and in line with Nurture Health’s policies and processes. This role plays an important part in maintaining the physical environment that supports patient care and rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily tasks in line with hospital routines and instructions.
- Support the upkeep of a clean, safe, and organised environment.
- Assist with general maintenance, cleaning, and operational support tasks.
- Transport items, equipment, or patients where required.
- Report issues, risks, or maintenance needs promptly.
- Work collaboratively with clinical and operational teams.
- Follow all health, safety, and infection control procedures.
Requirements
Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare environment (e.g. porter, cleaner, general worker, security)
Salary & Benefits
R11 271,67 per month (benefits included)
